Who we are and what we do:

Bradford BID came into effect in December 2018 and has around 600 member businesses. The BID is a “not for profit” organisation, meaning all income received from member levy fees is directed back into the city centre delivering projects under our four pillar headers of CLEAN/SAFE/ALIVE/PROMOTED. BIDs operate by raising a small levy to pay for additional services to help boost the performance of participating businesses and the city centre. This levy is a small percentage of Business Rateable Values, with the actual levy percentage varying depending on the area in question and the cost of the activities defined in the Business Plan. Governed by legislation to ensure fairness and transparency, our BID will operate for a five year period until November 2023,when we will ballot member businesses for a  further five year term.

The partnership is registered with the Information Commissioners Office (ICO) as a tier one organisation under Registration Number: ZA534228
